Traditional Massage Therapy

There are many different types of massage therapy, all treating different needs and providing various different benefits. Here at Body & Spa Therapy we provide seven of the most popular types of traditional massage to meet the requirements of any lifestyle.

Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatic essential oils have long been known for their many health benefits, including their antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Combined with your choice of massage, our aromatherapy treatments are the perfect remedy after a long day.

Hot Stone & Herbal Massage

Our Hot Stone & Herbal Massage sessions are the perfect treat for either yourself or a loved one. Our Hot Stone Massage is most popular when it's cold and muscles are tight, and our Herbal Massage is popular with those interested in the benefits of herbal therapies.

Dead Sea Body Scrub

Dead Sea Salt Body Scrubs are an ancient treatment in which coarse Dead Sea salt crystals are combined with aromatic essential oils and massaged into the body, in order to relieve tension, enhance energy flow and provide therapeutic benefit for a range of different conditions.

Spa & Massage Therapy

Body & Spa Therapy is proud to have become the latest edition to the Luton and Hightown area, where our qualified practitioners provide professional services in massage and aromatherapy. Our traditional techniques have been used to relieve tired bodies, hearts and souls of tension, aches and pains for thousands of years. Massage and aromatherapy are also considered a form of Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM), so there really is no better way to repay your body and mind after a long day!

Did you know that the practice of healing with massage and aromatherapy requires an in-depth understanding of the body; utilizing ancient practices that are known to restore balance by relieving tension and pain, enhancing circulation, and improving mood?

3 Easy Steps for Relaxing The Body & Mind

Step 1

Get comfortable and relax. Take in 3 deep breaths, making sure to breathe from the diaphragm (from the stomach area).

Step 2

Close your eyes, empty your mind and observe your breathing. With each exhale, notice the feeling of tension leaving  body.

Step 3

Continue this process of quietly watching your breath for 5-10 minutes or until you feel fully relaxed. Body & mind are now reset.
